Single photo nutrition tracking.SnapCalorie is the world’s first app where you can take a photo of ANY meal and get an accurate calorie count. It takes seconds to use and is more accurate than a trained nutritionist. The team previously co-founded Google Lens, Cloud Vision API, and published a CVPR paper demonstrating the first algorithm to outperform a professional nutritionist at calorie counting. We started building three months ago and already trained a complex AI algorithm, built an app from scratch, and launched a beta to early adopters. With 45M Americans dieting each month, and charging $16 a month, this presents a 9 billion dollar market opportunity in the US alone.
