Description

Platform for hiring college freelancersWe turn college students into freelancers. Our mission is to create a community where students have equal access to opportunity and feel valued for their work. By 2030, most of the US workforce will freelance. We enable students at the beginning of their work-life to start and grow their own freelance businesses while still in school. In the past 12 months, we've expanded to 850 colleges, helped students earn more than $500,000, and raised $3mm in VC funding. We're building a network that empowers college talent to hone their skills without having to take on unpaid work, creating a platform they will use even after they graduate.

Founder 2

John Tambunting,

Hello world! My name is John and I'm the CTO of Pangea.app. I discovered my passion for coding through attending hackathons while in college (github.com/jtambunt). I graduated from Brown with an Applied Mathematics degree. I'm dedicated to creating serious value in the world because I was fortunately given every opportunity to succeed by my family. This is what motivates me. My parents came to the US from the Philippines with nothing to their names and were able to actualize the American Dream.
